Recent Events & Gallery

The Recent Events calendar is viewable by anyone (whether or not they are logged-in users). It works in exactly the same way as the Forthcoming Events calendar. The purpose is for prospective new members to view the type of events run by the organization, for organization members to read an event report (e.g. match results), and also for those interested to view photos from the past events. The events appear in a calendar table listing Event Name, Event Type, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time, Can Sign Up?, Total No. Signed Up and a Details hyperlink.

Filtering

The calendar may show a vast quantity of past events and so the events can be filtered by: Number of months old (e.g. up to 12 months old), Event Type (e.g. Social Event, Inter-Club Match, Coaching Course etc.), Search Expression and Start Date. Click the 'Refresh' button once you have specified your filtering criteria.

In the case that there is more than one page of events the number of items per page can be specified via the drop-down list.

As usual the events are sortable by column; click column heading once to sort in ascending order and again to sort in descending order.

Details

The Details column contains a hyperlink to jump to the event details which appear below the calendar. Past events show an event report where available. Apart from all the essentials the details tell you who organized the event and give a hyperlink to contact the organizer by email. Underneath the event details there are thumbnails of all the pictures available for that event. Hover over the thumbnail for a picture caption; click on a thumbmail to view the full-size image; click your browser's Back button to return to the Event Calendar.
